To be honest, I’ve been an Airbnb girlie for quite some time—until a few incredible stays over the past few years nearly took my little aesthetic heart right out of my body.

It was my first time visiting Seattle, and while on a work trip, my co-worker booked a last-minute stay at Lotte Hotel. I knew little about the city, let alone the Lotte Hotels & Resorts group, but wow—was I in for a surprise. Nestled in the heart of downtown, this skyscraper hotel was chic, modern, and almost too luxurious for the wardrobe I had stuffed into my carry-on.

By the time I checked in, it was late after a long workday, and all I wanted was to order a massive salad and dessert from UberEats, wrap myself in the coziest robe and slippers, and indulge in bed—because let’s be honest, what are the two beds for anyway? One is always for sleeping, and the other is for takeout. That’s the golden rule. As the sun set, I dined in the comfort of my room, gazing out at the stunning cityscape with a glimpse of Elliott Bay in the distance, what more could a girl want?

So right, unwinding here was nothing short of perfect. The bathroom was unlike anything I’ve experienced in my travels across the States—absolutely stunning. A waterfall shower is always my favorite touch; something about it makes me feel like I’m living in pure luxury. The thoughtful addition of a window in the bathroom allowed natural sunlight to stream in, making the space feel even more elegant. And, of course, my sleep was superb—no surprise there.

The location is ideal, walkable to many downtown attractions, and my only regret is that I had just 24 hours to soak it all in. But I’ll take what I can get and daydream about my return. I couldn’t recommend this stay more—book yourself a weekend getaway and treat yourself. You won’t regret it!
