There is only one brand that now has my heart, it’s Parachute. Bye bye Target, hello adulthood!

Parachute launched in 2014 as an online-only, direct-to-consumer brand focused on creating impeccable bedding. Since then, they have expanded into many areas of home products and opened several brick-and-mortar stores across the U.S. – starting with Venice, California.

When I was forced to re-do my bedroom post the Texas snow storm flood I experienced, I was determined this was the time to pull the trigger for an upgrade. I had dreamed of owning this bedding once I “purchased a house” or “got married”. Better yet, finally feel like a real adult making real adult decisions. Well, this was definitely one of my top 3 adult decisions of 2021 (including financially) to invest in and feel really proud about it. This is the bedding that you will have in all your seasons of life and feel like it’s still fresh and new. Parachute has a timeless simplicity about them and when you’re 30, your decision making skills changes from trendy to timeless. But, that might just be me!

Thankfully, a brick and mortar just opened up a year or two ago so I knew I had to pay a visit to pick out the right bedding. My experience with the staff and manager was an A+. They were super helpful, especially for someone that was overwhelmed by beauty because it was a BIG decision. I don’t take redecorating lightly. And no, I am not trying to be dramatic either when I say that, it’s just the truth. 

Between the colors, textures and aesthetically pleasing merchandising of the store, I was about ready to toss in my resume! I did my research, read the reviews and heavily stocked their Instagram for inspiration that I wanted to create in my own home. I ended up purchasing the linen duvet, sateen sheets and cloud cotton quilt (a best seller).

If you find yourself in the market to redecorate and upgrade, look no further. You could be satisfied with the knock-offs but you’ll be upset when you have to replace it in a year or two.
